‘The management of thirteen streets in To Kwa Wan, Hong Kong has given rise to a close connection of industry and shops. The vertical expansion transforms the street into an assembly line climbing up the building, enabling tenants to work with their neighbours.’

A lighthouse stands tall, serving as both a guide and a symbol of readiness for challenges. New reed houses blend with the marshland, showing innovative adaptation. A workshop promotes self-sufficiency, championing craftsmanship and repair.

Noteworthy is the village's commitment to environmental responsibility. Repurposing materials from flood-risk structures by 2043 illustrates proactive climate change mitigation. Recycling minimises waste and prepares for potential flooding due to rising sea levels.’

‘This is a drawing of my room during the pandemic. Being confined to my bedroom during architecture schooling was extremely hard and I had to find ways to keep myself occupied. By documenting every object in my room and how it moves throughout it, an archive of this point in my life was created. I look back on this drawing as the only evidence of how I lived countless days within a single room, waiting for the world to open back up.’
