No, presentation boards are not eligible and will not be judged. Please submit individual drawings only.

As many as you want! You can submit up to 5 drawings per submission and you can submit more than once.

Whilst you don’t have to, it is highly recommended that you include a description for each drawing submitted as this can be useful for the judges to understand the wider context of your project.

All submissions must be a .jpg or .jpeg with a 10mb maximum file size. Apart from that your submission can be any shape or size!

Please note the Drawing of the Year Awards' purpose is to recognise human creativity. The use of AI as your primary method of creation may result in your work not being eligible for being judged. Not disclosing the use of AI may also result in disqualification from the Awards. If your work is Shortlisted or you are a Finalist you may be asked to prove the technologies used within your creative process by the Awards' administration team.

Yes, absolutely! You must ensure you have permission from all authors of the image to enter the Awards and you must properly credit all team members in the submission.

Yes, absolutely. You can submit works created for, or submitted into, alternative Awards or competitions.
However we will not accept drawings that have been submitted into earlier Drawing of the Year Awards. Images that have been submitted in previous years will not be considered.

No, by submitting your work you will automatically be entered into all categories. The Awards team will organise works into their relevant categories for the judging rounds.

Unfortunately we can only accept submissions from those who are 18 years old and older.

You will receive a submission confirmation email up to an hour after you submit. Please ensure that your email is correct before submitting. Please check your spam / junk following your submission. If you do not receive a confirmation email, get in touch at awards[at]email.archisource.org

Unfortunately you cannot directly update your submission yourself. However if you realise you have submitted incorrect information, please email awards[at]email.archisource.org stating your confirmation number (found on your confirmation email) along with any information you’d like to update. You must contact us on the email used to submit your work, otherwise your request will not be processed.
If you wish to submit different or updated drawings please create a new submission.

You must upload and submit your works before 23.59 GMT on the 20th April 2025. Submissions after this time will not be accepted.

Yes! The Awards are a fully inclusive initiative and completely free to enter! Our mission is to support and inspire creatives and recognise the very best talents without barriers.

The expert judging panel for 2025 will be revealed in March 2025. The 2024 judges included members from renowned studios and collectives including; Foster + Partners, RSHP, Allford Hall Monaghan Morris, Hayes Davidson, to the London Festival of Architecture.

Yes absolutely. The anonymity and procedure of judging is of the highest importance to the Awards. Judges will only receive drawing titles, descriptions and workflow information. No personal details will be shared with the judging panel. Judges are also required to declare any work they are familiar with to avoid bias throughout the judging process.

Unfortunately not. Due to the thousands of submissions we receive it is not possible to provide feedback on any submissions. The expert judging panel’s deliberations are also confidential and cannot be shared.

The winners will be announced at the major London Exhibition and across the Awards Month in July 2025. Final dates and details for the London Exhibition dates will be announced shortly - so stay tuned!
